Our Team

The team at Symmetry are lead by MD and founder Paul Galley. Paul used to work alone, exclusively on furniture design. Now he has a team of 9 handpicked specialists who have been chosen for their diversity of skills and, equally important, their fit with the feel and values of the company.

Interior Designer

Cerys Bascombe

Cerys graduated from the University of Chester with a degree in interior design. Her passions lie in creating beautiful yet functional spaces for people to enjoy but also be feasible for them to actually use. Her favourite part of any design project is the initial concept stages, where the freedom of ideas and design potential can run wild.

In her spare time, Cerys has a small business in making hand painted cards with plantable wildflower hearts. She also enjoys knitting, embroidery and reading (mostly Jane Austen or Michael Morpurgo). But above all she enjoys being outside walking her dogs or challenging herself with more mountainous activities e.g. climbing or bouldering.

CGI Modeller

Ed Hardy

Ed graduated from Coventry University with a Degree in Product Design. Here he discovered a keen interest in creating digital imagery, particularly in the realm of CAD and CGI. After Graduation Ed has expanded his skillset and broadened his experience with a variety of Design software and disciplines.  He is excited to learn more and produce some stunning digital imagery.

In his free time Ed enjoys more traditional Art disciplines- mostly drawing and painting. He also wants to read more but always just ends up just listening to audio books.
